Dear participant, we are pleased to welcome you at the first »2nd Sustainable Summer School«.

The registration for the »Summer School 2010« is completed. We got 20 registrations from eight countries around the world. You will find further informations on this website.

 

Further Details

The number of participants is limited.

The participants will receive a certificate for the participation.

The workload equates 2 credit points (ECTS). The congress and the workshops are held in English.

The participation fee for the summer school, including accomodiation, catering and local transport is 390,- EUR.

On the first day a free shuttle service will be offered from Düsseldorf central station to the monastery. On the last day we offer a shuttle service to Düsseldorf central station. (Travel expenses for arrival and departure to and from Düsseldorf are not included.)

After your registration we will send you the invoice with bank account of Wuppertal University via E-Mail. 

 

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

 

Do I need to apply for a VISA for my visit in Germany?

The regulations for the different countries are diverse. Please have a look at the website of the “Auswärtiges Amt”. Sometimes you need a  “confirmation letter of accommodation” to apply for a VISA. If you need one, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will prepare a document.


What is covered by the fee?

The fee cover the accommodation and meals, the transfers from the meeting point in Dusseldorf to the monastery, all transfers in between and the transfer from the monastery to central station of Dusseldorf.


Are there any hidden costs? What do I need additionally?

Some money for drinks over the week plus anything you need additionally. And of course the money for additional public transport from your arrival (airport/train station) and to your depature (airport/train station).

 

Can I participate as a post-graduate?

Of course! But keep in mind that the program is originally designed for students.
